What did the apostle Paul say?
“Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.” Romans 8:23
The spirit is saved by faith, and the body is saved by hope. Hope purifies our soul. When it doesn’t look good, hope says, “It’s all right.” This is why we need such a strong witness in our soul. God gives us hope in the midst of our storm.
We must understand the working of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Many become discouraged when they fall short of their goals as a child of God. Others throw in the towel and say, “What’s the use?”
Many of you are near a breakthrough in your life. You may have fought for years to get to where you are with God. Many of you are pregnant with destiny. You are carrying within the womb of your spirit a ministry that could change the world!
Open God’s Word and allow it to become a mirror. As the Holy Spirit illuminates your life, you will begin to reflect His glory. Be willing to pay the price and discipline yourself because God wants to do a work in your life, your ministry, your marriage, and your calling in this New Year!
