Not Intimidated By Our Adversaries

These are eventful days upon the earth that could rob believers of their joy of knowing Christ if we allow ourselves to be controlled by evil circumstances. Our nation recently voted to elect a leader whose policies and beliefs clearly deny the authority and teachings of the word of God and moral principles that most believers hold to.

ANOTHER VOTE COMING - Possibly within days another vote is coming from radical Islamists who are pushing the United Nations (U.N.) to pass a “Defamation of Religions” (DOR) resolution. It looks like a reasonable ban on religious discrimination, a global guarantee of religious freedom.

But it’s a deception and it is deadly dangerous! If you share your unique Christian faith...if you assert that faith in Jesus Christ as the only way to become an “enemy of Islam” and risk arrest, imprisonment, even death. The largest body of nations within the U.N. is the 57-nation Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)

It will apply “blasphemy laws” already on the books in Muslim nations, to you and your family...and subject Christians like you and those you know to some of the most brutal aspects of Islamic Shariah Law. The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) is currently fighting this law on behalf of Christians. They need our prayer and financial support on this.

LIVE AS CITIZENS OF HEAVEN - Paul writes in Philippians 1:27, 30 (NLT) “But whatever happens to me, you must live in a manner worthy of the Gospel of Christ, as citizens of heaven, then whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing side by side, fighting together for the Gospel. (vs 28) DON’T BE INTIMIDATED by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God Himself (vs 29) For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for Him (vs 30). We are in this fight together…”

As Christians we stand together in our faith. The sword of the Lord (God’s Word) is in our hand to do battle against the hosts of darkness. The high praises of God in our mouth will defeat the darkness! We do not trust in the chariots of government, nor do we trust in the strength of horses carrying ungodly laws. The Lord is the “saving strength of His anointed people.” Psalms 28:7, 8
