Created to Be!

The next four weeks of ministry are a follow up to our Easter Sunday services which did impact many people’s lives. It is important for all believers and newcomers to the faith to grow and develop into what God has purposed for our lives. Each one of us is called into something far bigger than ourselves. It is greater than us because it connects us to the greatness of God!

Created to Be(ing).

God has called us to Believe.
We are called to Belong.
We are created to Become.
We are created to be God’s Building.

Each of these next four Sundays will testify of God’s inner working of His Holy Spirit in us and help us understand how to walk out every day Christianity which will convince the world that a real Jesus lives inside of us.

God’s purpose for each of us is to continually “be conformed into the image of His Son.” (Romans 8:29) This is called in scriptures, God’s predestined plan. God foreknew and predestined (planned) for all believers to be like Christ. God has purposed His will to be done in us which is “good, acceptable, and perfect.” Romans 12:2

Because of the human side of our nature, none of us can live the Christian life through our own self-effort. We are bound to fail and we know it. Therefore, since we have Christ living in us, and He alone is perfect, we must continue to abide daily in Him. It is not Christ and us trying to live the Christian life, it is Christ in us who actively encourages us by His Spirit to live His life through us.

To “abide” means to “remain.” Remain spiritually focused. Remain God conscious. Remain submitted to Him. Remain faithful. Remain loving toward Him. Remain true to His Word. Jesus stated in John 8:31, “If you abide in my word, you are my disciples indeed.” And “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” John 15:7

Abiding in Christ every day means your prayers become more effective, it brings a more fruitful life, and your joy becomes full through experiencing Christ’s joy from within you. (vs. 11)  If we believe these things and live in them we will continually be satisfied with the goodness of the Lord. Daily Christian living is as simple as ABC! ABIDE - BELIEVE - CONFESS. These will make us overcomers!
